Welcome to Maharaja Tandoori

Rue de la Bourse 12, 1000 Bruxelles, Belgium

General Info

Maharaja Tandoori is a Pakistani restaurant located at Rue de la Bourse 12, 1000 Bruxelles, Belgium, and it stands out as a lively dining spot where traditional South Asian flavors meet a relaxed city-center atmosphere. The location itself makes it convenient for both locals and travelers exploring Brussels, especially those looking for a comforting meal close to central streets and business areas.

The menu at Maharaja Tandoori feels designed for variety and shared enjoyment. One of the most noticeable highlights is the Buffet Mains selection, which brings together a range of hot dishes that rotate in richness and spice levels, giving diners a chance to explore different tastes in a single visit. Alongside that, the Surtido de Platos offers a mixed-plate style experience that works well for anyone who prefers sampling multiple items instead of committing to just one dish.

For lighter options, the Salads & Dahi Raitas section adds freshness and balance to the overall dining experience. The cooling yogurt-based raita pairs naturally with spicier mains, while the salad options keep the meal feeling lighter and more rounded. A comforting Chicken Clear Soup is also part of the offering, often appreciated as a warm starter that prepares the palate without feeling too heavy.

Rice lovers usually gravitate toward the Biryani Rice, which carries that familiar aromatic profile many expect from a Pakistani restaurant menu. It works well as a standalone dish or as part of a larger combination plate. The buffet-style setup also makes it easy to explore multiple flavors in one sitting without feeling restricted.

What adds to the experience is the service style. The restaurant offers an All you can eat format, which is especially popular for groups or anyone with a bigger appetite. Solo dining is also very comfortable here, with seating arrangements that don’t make the space feel overwhelming for individual visitors. The availability of Wi-Fi adds convenience for those who want to stay connected while dining or working casually.

Desserts are another pleasant surprise. The Great dessert selection and additional dessert options give a sweet finish to the meal, rounding off the spices and savory layers with something soft and satisfying. It’s the kind of ending that encourages a slower pace, letting diners relax a bit longer after their main courses.

Overall, Maharaja Tandoori in Brussels feels like a place where buffet culture, Pakistani culinary identity, and casual city dining blend naturally. The combination of menu variety, relaxed service, and central location makes it a steady choice for everyday meals or unplanned food stops in the area.

What customers say?

“ Food was great! I had buffet and everything was awesome The bathroom wasn’t clean and there was too much incense in men‘s bathroom. The incense at the baby‘s changing are made the baby very stressed. Staff is friendly! The best thing is there is a mosque below the restaurant. I expected a muslim shower or a water pot in the bathroom but there was none ”

“ I had the chance to try the dinner buffet at Maharaja Tandoori in Belgium, and it truly felt like a piece of Pakistan away from home. Every dish was rich in authentic flavors, perfectly spiced, and deeply comforting. It reminded me of home in the best way possible. Without a doubt, this is the best Pakistani food I’ve had in Europe. A must-visit for anyone craving real desi taste ”

“ Delicious food with authentic flavors! The tandoori dishes are perfectly cooked, and the portions are generous. Friendly staff and cozy atmosphere make it a great spot for both dine-in and takeaway. Definitely recommend trying the curries! They offer various set menus, which are considered excellent value and include a mix of grilled items (like Seekh Kebab and Aloo Tikki), Biryani, curry, and bread, perfect for sharing. If you are ordering for delivery or takeaway, Maharaja Tandoori is generally a great choice for generous portions and good value Pakistani/Indian cuisine. ”
